These terms cover this website, the browser scanner, the NightShade Health app and the waiting list. Using them means you accept these terms.

What NightShade Health is

NightShade Health is an information tool. It reads food labels and shows which ingredients come from the nightshade family, on a scale called NSX.

Information, not medical advice

NightShade Health gives information about ingredients. It is not medical advice, and it does not tell you what is right for your health.

Always read the label yourself, and talk to a qualified health professional about your own situation.

Scans and results

A result is worked out from the ingredient text, barcode, product name or photo you give us, and from the profile you set. It is only as good as what it was given, and a result from a photo is never better than Check.

The waiting list and founding places

Joining the waiting list is free. You join once you confirm your email address.

The first 500 people to confirm get NightShade Pro free for 3 months, starting when the app is available to them. No payment details are needed.

Dates on this site are plans. They can change, and we will say so here when they do.

How accurate it is

Makers change recipes, labels differ between countries, and we can be wrong. We cannot promise that any result is complete or correct.

Using the site

Please do not misuse the site, try to break it, or sign up with an email address that is not yours.

Our content

The NightShade Health name, the mark and the NSX scale belong to NightShade Health. You may link to this site and quote it with credit.

Our responsibility

As far as the law allows, NightShade Health is not responsible for loss or harm that comes from relying on this site. Nothing here limits rights the law gives you that cannot be limited.
