NightShade Health gives information, not medical advice. NSX describes exposure, not diagnosis. Always check the label.
What NSX means
NSX is a number from 0 to 5. It describes how much of the nightshade family we found in a food, from none found to a main ingredient.
It describes the food. It does not describe you, and it cannot tell you how you will react.
Always check the label
The label on the pack in your hand is the final word. Recipes change, and a product can differ from one country to the next.
Some label words, such as "spices" or "natural flavours", do not say what they are made from. We show those as unclear instead of guessing.
Restaurants and kitchens
We do not inspect or certify kitchens. What a restaurant tells us is its own statement, and shared equipment can carry traces.
Your health
NightShade Health does not replace advice from a qualified health professional. If you have had a severe reaction before, follow the plan you agreed with them.
